Tips for Hiring Licensed Professionals
Your project is very important to us, but if you find yourself in a situation where your contractor is unresponsive, not performing work according to the contract terms or is doing anything illegal, you have the right to file a complaint.
Miami-Dade County is responsible for local licensing and enforcement (registered contractors, journeymen, etc.) and as the property owner, you should be proactive in verifying the status of individuals working on your home or your business. The County will also support complaints going to the state licensing board.
