Call for Works - International Women’s Month Art Exhibit

2026 Call for Artists International Women's History Month Image

Description

The City of Doral is accepting submissions of art for the 2026 International Women’s Month Art Exhibit. Paintings, sculptures, printmaking, mixed media, textile art, installation and photography from South Florida artists will be on display to the public at the Cultural Arts Center from Thursday, March 5, 2026 to Tuesday, March 24, 2026.

This year’s theme, “Healing Goddesses, The Resilience of Women” highlights the shared experiences that unite women across generations and cultures. Stories of overcoming challenges, embracing change, and shining light on the path forward. The woman who rises above every obstacle life presents: navigating migration, balancing family responsibilities, and breaking barriers in spaces traditionally led by men. This exhibition honors every woman’s journey. The mother, the sister, the wife, the friend, and the independent woman who moves forward with courage and grace, inspiring those around her.

Through their art, participating artists will portray women as guides and beacons, Healing Goddesses whose stories illuminate the essence of our society today. This year’s exhibit invites viewers on a visual journey through diverse interpretations of female strength and endurance, as only women can understand and express it.
