Private Haulers
Our solid waste collection is currently being handled by several companies known as private haulers. The City of Doral monitors the private haulers that operate within the City. They need to have a franchise to operate. The Miami-Dade County Solid Waste Management has neighborhood trash and recycling centers to do self disposal.
The City of Doral requires for businesses engaging in the business of the collection of solid waste to obtain a franchise from the City of Doral Public Works Department and pay solid waste collection franchise fees. Do not dispose of certain household waste in the trash, in the sewer, or on the ground.
