IMPORTANT: Each QUALIFIER shall have their own unique login. We can add multiple sub contacts to your registration, but each licensed qualifier shall have their own username and password.
BEFORE you submit documents for a NEW REGISTRATION to the records team, please CREATE a USER LOGIN in our CITIZEN SELF-SERVICE (CSS) portal.
Effective April 1st, 2023, all NEW registrations will be VIA BuildingRecordsClerk@cityofdoral.com ONLY.
If you have previously registered or done construction work in the City of Doral, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO REGISTER AGAIN.

Registration TYPES
Contractors or owners working in Doral are required to be registered with the City.
- County CTQB Card Holders
- State Certified Contractor
- State Registered Contractor
- Owner/Builder
- Private Provider
To update an existing Contractor Registration
- Contractors must submit updated license and insurance information to BuildingRecordsClerk@cityofdoral.com.
- Please include SUBJECT LINE: Registration Number and/or License number.
- From CSS, select MY WORK and view MY LICENSES.
Change of Contractor
New permit application(PDF, 2MB)
Applicants seeking a change of contractor must fill out a New permit application and select the “Change of Contractor” box located within the “Permit Request” section of the application. Permit applications can be found within the Forms page or click the link above.
State Certified Contractors
State certified contractors must provide copy of the following:
- Local Business Tax Receipt (Occupational License) for place of business (Miami-Dade County or Broward County)
- Certificate of Insurance for Workers' Compensation and Liability
- Certificate of Liability Insurance must include:
- Name of insured, Type of policy issued, and Type of insurance
- Policy number, Effective date, and Expiration date
- Insurance amount to be as specified in Florida Administrative Rule 61G4- 15.003 (Public Liability Insurance)
Miami-Dade County Licensed Contractors
CTQB Card Holders
Miami-Dade County licensed contractors must provide a copy of the following:
- Certificate of Competency (Front and Back)
- Municipal Contractors Occupational License (Front and Back)
- Certificate of Insurance for Workers' Compensation and Liability
- Certificate of Liability Insurance must include:
- Name of insured, Type of policy issued, and Type of insurance
- Policy number, Effective date, and Expiration date
- Liability Insurance with no less than $300,000 per accident or occurrence for bodily injury and $ 50,000 per accident for property damage
Workers’ Compensation Insurance Exemption
If contractor has a Workers’ Compensation Insurance Exemption, a Notice to Owner - WC Insurance Exemption needs to be submitted to the Building Department along with the building permit application.
Worker’s Compensation Search
EXPIRATION NOTE: It is the CONTRACTOR’S RESPONSIBILITY to maintain an ACTIVE REGISTRATION with this city with open permits.
Contractor Registrations expire:
- With contractor’s DBPR licenses on AUGUST 31st. Visit www.myfloridalicense.com for more information
- With BTR/OL (Business Tax Receipt/Occupational License) Business license on SEPTEMBER 30th.
- With expiration of Worker’s Compensation, Worker’s Comp Exemption, or Liability Insurance AS PER YOUR POLICY which is the renewal date of your policy and can be at ANYTIME.
