This program is designed for high school students to assist the City of Doral Parks and Recreation Department in providing quality community events, programs and activities for visitors and residents of Doral. If you are a student interested in becoming a Parks and Recreation volunteer for community events, programs and/or activities throughout the year, please follow the link below to download the application and visit Morgan Levy Park to submit it.
How to Volunteer
- After completing and submitting a volunteer application, if approved, you are eligible to participate in many of our volunteer opportunities.
- You will also be required to complete a Request to Volunteer form per participation for each project or event in which you participate.
- Minors (those under 18) must have a parent or legal guardian sign the Volunteer Application along with the Request for a Minor to Volunteer form, if approved.
Qualifications
Here are a few requirements you will need to meet in order to become a volunteer for the Students in Action Program.
- ONLY high school students between the ages of 13 and 18 are allowed.
- Any high school student 18 or older must use the adult process to volunteer. See the Adult Volunteer page.
- Community service hours are only allowed to be completed as a requirement for school or because you want to give back to the community.
- An application must be accompanied with a copy of a student ID card and/or a State of Florida issued license or ID card.

- The City of Doral does not provide volunteer opportunities for those seeking community service required by court.
- Please note that ALL adult volunteer applicants must go through an extensive background check.
