Pursuant to Sec. 2-323. - Exemptions from competitive bidding of the City of Doral Municipal Code, and Florida Administrative Code Rule 67‑49.0032, the City of Doral City hereby announces its intent to allow a test pilot program, and if successful, the city may award a sole source procurement contract to: Municipal Parking Services SafetyStick® The solar SafetyStick

The City of Doral is announcing a test pilot program utilizing a patented device called the solar SafetyStick®. The device operates using automated technology to monitor traffic areas without the need for traditional parking meters or hardwired grid power.

MPS will provide a turnkey solution that includes camera-based monitoring, automated license plate recognition, access to the Sentry Link cloud-based platform, reporting and analytics tools, and officer review capabilities. This thirty-day pilot is intended solely for evaluation purposes and proof of concept. It will provide data on prohibited parking activity, occupancy conditions, and compliance trends. No parking citations will be issued, mailed, or processed by MPS as part of the pilot.
