The City of Doral has expanded funding for its Doral Seeds Business Grant Program to $50,000, further strengthening its commitment to supporting local entrepreneurs and small business growth.

The increase is made possible through a new partnership with Perry Ellis International, whose $10,000 contribution builds upon the program's existing $40,000 funding established through the collaborative efforts of the City of Doral, the Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Florida International University (FIU), and Banesco USA.

Launched to help entrepreneurs develop and grow their businesses, the Doral Seeds Business Grant Program provides eligible businesses with access to competitive grant funding designed to encourage innovation, business expansion, and long-term economic success. The program reflects the City's ongoing efforts to foster a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem by connecting businesses with funding opportunities and strategic resources.

With the addition of Perry Ellis International, the program now offers a total of $50,000 in available grant funding, creating additional opportunities for businesses to invest in equipment, operational improvements, expansion initiatives, and other projects that contribute to sustainable growth.

The partnership also highlights the shared commitment of organizations that have invested in Doral's business community. Since the program's inception, the City of Doral, FIU's Florida Small Business Development Center, and Banesco USA have worked together to provide meaningful support for entrepreneurs.

Perry Ellis International's investment further expands the program's impact and reinforces the importance of public-private partnerships in advancing local economic development.

The Doral Seeds Business Grant Program is one of several initiatives offered through the City's Economic Development Division to help businesses succeed. Alongside programs such as Launch45, the Start & Scale Academy, educational workshops, and business outreach initiatives, Doral continues to provide resources that support business attraction, retention, and expansion.

By investing in entrepreneurs and strengthening strategic partnerships, the City of Doral continues to build an environment where businesses can innovate, grow, and contribute to a thriving local economy.
