Did you know that 70% of Americans either lack the training or confidence to administer CPR during an emergency? In a life-threatening situation, this knowledge gap can mean the difference between life and death. As part of American Heart Month this February, Miami-Dade County is determined to change that by offering residents an opportunity to learn CPR for free.

Why This Matters
CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) can dramatically increase the survival rate of someone experiencing cardiac arrest. Hands-only CPR, in particular, is simple to learn and does not require mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. By dedicating just 30 minutes, you can gain the skills to save a life in critical moments. This initiative aligns with the community’s ongoing commitment to health and safety. Programs like CPR Day Miami are part of broader efforts to prepare residents for emergencies and create a more resilient community.

Learn CPR now, save a life later.
Note: CPR Day Miami offers basic life-saving instruction but does not provide formal CPR certification.
