Doral, FL - The first ever “Dominican Festival in Doral” festival is coming to Downtown Doral Park on Saturday, February 29, 2020.  This colorful event celebrates the Dominican Independence Day and will showcase the Dominican culture, celebrating all it has to offer along with the wide myriad of cultures that makeup the Doral community. The entire community is invited unite for this FREE event, beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Event-goers can enjoy a tour of the Dominican Republic’s delicious culture and gastronomy by the best Dominican chefs and restaurants. For this occasion, Dominican culinary sensation, Chef Danny, winner of many Caribbean gastronomic events in South Florida, will be serving as the coordinator, and with other participating Chefs will be conducting demos, recipes and delightful culinary experiences for the community. A special folklore presentation will also immerse the attendees in the traditions of this great Caribbean nation with live performances by various local & international bands.

Another highlight of the festival will be the arts & crafts exhibition that will feature some of the most exciting artists from our Dominican community and abroad. The talented artists will give a unique and up-close look at the beautiful artisan pieces from their native country. Other exciting and family-friendly activities include: Dominoes, Bingo, assorted board games and children’s entertainment.

The event will be produced by Landestoy Enterprises, Inc. a company that has many years of expertise in these types of events. The approval of this event was unanimously supported by the Mayor and City Council, including Councilwoman Digna Cabral who is from the Dominican Republic.
