Doral Voters Elect Oscar Puig-Corve as New Councilmember

Doral, FL – On December 8, 2020, as a result of a run-off election, Oscar Puig-Corve was elected by Doral voters to fill Seat 3 of the City Council. Councilman Puig-Corve received 69% of the votes. He has been a Doral resident since 2000 and is one of the founding members of Doral and served on the inaugural Doral Community Council. 
 
“I am very proud to welcome Councilman Puig-Corve to the City Council,” stated Mayor Bermudez. “He has served our community for many years, even prior to the City’s incorporation, and I have no doubt that his understanding of the residents’ needs and his longstanding dedication to Doral will be a great asset to continue moving us forward.”
 
“Making Doral the best City for our families and businesses has been my goal for several years as I served on various boards and worked with so many in the community for that common vision,” said Councilman Puig-Corve. “I truly appreciate the support from the Doral community as I embark on this new chapter to collectively achieve great things for our City.”
