Doral Boy Scout Adds Doral Glades Park Signage

Mr. Ricardo Mendez is a member of the Boy Scouts of America, Doral Troop 552 that dedicated his Eagle Scout service project to improving signage at Doral Glades Park. Mr. Mendez spent the last year working on creating interpretive signage for the park’s nature trail. He created plant identification signs placed among the various plants around the park, as well as two interpretive signs at our observation deck detailing some of the wildlife that can be found at the park. The project was funded by Mr. Mendez through fundraising and was at no cost to the City. This is a wonderful addition to the park as it helps visitors learn more about the local flora and fauna, they see every day. We are grateful he chose Doral Glades Park for this project and look forward to continuing working with Troop 552 on future projects!
