City of Doral Receives American Heart Association Workforce Well-being Recognition

The American Heart Association has awarded the City of Doral national gold level recognition for its commitments to employee health and well-being as measured in the Association’s 2023 Workforce Well-Being Scorecard. The Scorecard evaluates factors such as mental health policies and organizational well-being strategies, two factors the City has promoted throughout 2023 as part if their wellness program. These strategies address burnout, health equity measures, employee financial resources and more to provide a comprehensive assessment of an organization’s culture of health. The American Heart Association has defined best practices for employers to use to build a culture of health and well-being for their workforce.

Doral’s wellness program has been recognized by the American Heart Association for the past nine years and counting for prioritizing a robust program and that will continue to focus on employees’ overall wellness goals. We look forward to continuing our services and strategies in 2024 and will strive to achieve the upmost wellness program for the City of Doral and continue our success.
