Census 2020 Workshops - Help Make Sure #DoralCounts!

Every 10 years, the U.S Bureau conducts a census to determine the number of people living in the United States. The census is much more than just a head count, it provides a representation of our nation that helps determine where to build new schools, hospitals and businesses. Census is important because it determines how federal funding is distributed.

The City of Doral is hosting a #DoralCounts 2020 Census Workshop! We will be hosting three workshops that will discuss: How the census benefits to our community, how you can easily participate, the confidentiality of your information and we will have a Q & A at the end of the workshop to answer all of your questions. Join us!

Cada 10 años, la Oficina de los Estados Unidos realiza un censo para determinar la cantidad de personas que viven en los Estados Unidos. El censo es mucho más que un recuento de personal, proporciona una representación de nuestra nación que ayuda a determinar dónde construir nuevas escuelas, hospitales y negocios. El censo es importante porque determina cómo se distribuyen los fondos federales. ¡La Ciudad de Doral está organizando un Taller de Censo #DoralCounts 2020! Organizaremos tres talleres que discutirán: cómo el censo beneficia a nuestra comunidad, cómo puede participar fácilmente, la confidencialidad de su información y tendremos un Q & A al final del taller para responder a todas sus preguntas.
