Miami-Dade County Opens Applications for Low Income Housing Assistance Image

Miami-Dade County is now accepting applications for its Project-Based Voucher (PBV) program, designed to help low-income tenants secure affordable rental units. The online application portal opened, Monday, June 9, 2025, and will remain open until June 20.

How to Apply

Residents can submit applications online via the official portal:

miamidadevoucher.myhousing.com

For those without internet access, assistance is available at several public libraries and community resource centers throughout the county, including:

  • Main Library (Downtown Miami)
  • North Dade Regional Library
  • Westchester Regional Library
  • Miami Beach Regional Library
  • Naranja Library
  • Various Community Resource Centers

Program Overview

The PBV program offers rental assistance to eligible low-income households, helping them afford housing in participating apartment complexes. Assistance is provided through a voucher system, allowing tenants to select housing units that meet program criteria.
