Important Development Services Updates

The City of Doral is implementing several updates to its Development Services processes and permitting system. Customers are encouraged to review the following important dates and plan accordingly.

• September 18–30, 2026
  Temporary Pause on Building Permit Invoices
  Building Permit invoices will not be issued from September 18 through September 30 while the City prepares to implement its updated Building Permit Fee Schedule.
  
  
• October 1, 2026
  New Fee Schedules Take Effect
  The new Building Permit Fee Schedule and Technology Fee Schedule will become effective October 1, 2026.
  The Technology Fee will apply to permits, plans and licenses across all applicable City departments.
  
  
• December 12, 2026
  Permitting System Upgrade
  A scheduled system upgrade may result in intermittent interruptions to online permitting portal services. Customers who experience an interruption are encouraged to try accessing the portal again later.
  
  
• December 14–15, 2026
  No Inspections
  Building, Public Works, and Planning & Zoning inspections will not be conducted on Monday, December 14, or Tuesday, December 15, due to citywide road closures and events.

Customers should plan permitting and inspection needs accordingly.
