The City of Doral is honored to host Las Paredes Oyen, an immersive theater experience created by the children of Cuban exiles, running from June 14 to July 6, 2025, at the Doral Cultural Arts Center.

Inspired by the playwright’s grandfather—who was imprisoned as a political dissident in Isla de Pinos—this compelling production explores what happens when family, ideology, and survival collide. It’s a deeply personal reflection on memory, identity, and the lasting impact of political trauma.

After two acclaimed runs—first at the Westchester Cultural Center in spring 2023, followed by a fall engagement with the American Museum of the Cuban Diaspora—Las Paredes Oyen now returns for its most ambitious staging yet: the first-ever theatrical production to be held at the Doral Cultural Arts Center.

Don’t miss this powerful cultural experience, coming to Doral for the first time ever. Whether you’re a lover of theater, a member of the Cuban diaspora, or simply curious about immersive storytelling, Las Paredes Oyen offers a rare opportunity to witness a story that speaks across generations. Seating is limited for this intimate production—secure your tickets now and be part of a historic moment in the local arts scene.
