Freebee Expansion Brings More Convenient and Reliable Rides
Published on November 05, 2025
Getting around Doral just got even easier! The City of Doral is proud to announce the addition of two new Freebee vehicles to its popular on-demand transportation service — one designated for general service and another dedicated exclusively to senior service.
This exciting expansion means residents and visitors can look forward to shorter wait times, improved reliability, and the same eco-friendly, cost-free transportation they’ve come to love. The Freebee program, powered by a fleet of electric vehicles, helps reduce local traffic congestion and emissions while providing a fun, accessible way to explore the city.
This latest enhancement was made possible through a grant of more than $800,000 from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) — allowing the City to expand service while remaining fiscally responsible and committed to sustainable transportation solutions.
Whether you’re commuting to work, meeting friends at Downtown Doral, heading to one of our parks, or catching a show at the Doral Cultural Arts Center, Freebee offers a convenient and sustainable way to get there. And now, with an expanded fleet, the service is ready to meet the growing needs of our vibrant community.
The City continues to invest in initiatives that make Doral a connected, sustainable, and resident-focused city — and the Freebee expansion is just one more example of that commitment in action.
