Doral, FL – The City of Doral celebrated National Pickleball Day with the inauguration the City’s first dedicated pickleball courts. As one of the nation's fastest-growing sports, pickleball has gained immense popularity in the community for its social and competitive nature. In response to the growing demand, the City of Doral is proud to offer this new recreational amenity to residents and visitors alike. Mayor Christi Fraga, Councilman Rafael Pineyro, and Councilwoman Maureen Porras, joined the many pickleball enthusiasts to proudly celebrate the new facilities. The City already has pickleball courts at Morgan Levy Park and Doral Legacy Park that are shared with tennis, and additional shared courts will also be available at Doral Central Park once the western portion of the park is opened in early 2025.
