This Letter to Council is to inform the Mayor and City Council about the implementation of Alyssa's Alert within our City's charter schools. During the 2020 Legislative Session, the Florida Legislature passed Senate Bill 70, and Governor Ron DeSantis signed it into law to provide an extra layer of protection in Florida's schools.
