Traffic Section

The City of Doral Police Traffic Section is dedicated to keeping Doral’s roadways moving during delays, reroutes and accident scenes. This section consists of the Motor Squad, Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit, and Crash Investigations Unit and performs traffic control at civic functions, sporting events, processions, parades, and for visiting dignitaries. Its primary goal is to ensure the safety of motorists and pedestrians. Traffic officers reach out to the community by speaking at driver education classes, and promoting safe driving habits. Educating the community helps the unit achieve voluntary driver compliance to traffic laws and reduce traffic related injuries and deaths.

The City of Doral Police Department will enforce state and local traffic laws in a uniform manner without regard to race, religion, sex, age, or economic status. All enforcement actions shall be accomplished in a firm, fair, impartial, and courteous manner.

The Traffic Section continues its commitment to ensure the safety of the motoring public and allow for an orderly and expeditious flow of traffic within the city.
