South Florida Chapter of Autism Speaks selects Vice Mayor Sandra Ruiz as Champion for Autism.
Sandra Ruiz will work towards increasing autism awareness, raising funds to support individuals with autism and encouraging community support for the Autism Walk, planned for 2016 in Doral. Touched by mission of this wonderful organization, the Vice Mayor will do all she can to increase understanding and public involvement. Autism now affects 1 in 68 children.
