On August 14th, the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation named 107 Knight Arts Challenge Miami finalists and the City of Doral was one of them! If chosen, the grant would fund the Ritmo Doral event.
On August 14th, the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation named 107 Knight Arts Challenge Miami finalists and the City of Doral was one of them! If chosen, the grant would fund the Ritmo Doral event. This would be the second year for the event that’s goal is to bring more culture to the city’s downtown with an international cultural event that connects local artists and community members with artists in Doral’s sister cities.
Ritmo Doral, a free and family-friendly festival, was inaugurated in the City’s vibrant Downtown Doral area in March 2017. Performers from Doral’s sister cities Barranquilla, Colombia and Oranjestad, Aruba, participated, promoting cultural, diplomatic, business and tourism ties.
