Doral’s Council Swearing-in Ceremony & 2024 State of the City Address

Doral, FL – The City of Doral is excited to announce its upcoming Council Swearing-In Ceremony and State of the City Address. This momentous event will take place on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. Event begins at 6:30 p.m., with a reception to immediately follow the address.

The evening will begin with the swearing-in ceremony for the newly elected and re-elected City Councilmembers – Mayor Christi Fraga, Councilman Rafael Pineyro and Councilmember for Seat 3 (decided during December 10th runoff election).

Following the swearing-in ceremony, Mayor Christi Fraga will deliver the 2024 State of the City Address. The address will highlight the City's significant accomplishments over the past year, including:

• Expanded Parks and Recreation: New parks, enhanced recreational facilities, and expanded programming.
• Enhanced Public Safety: Investments in public safety initiatives to ensure a secure community.
• Infrastructure Improvements: Key infrastructure projects to improve the city's infrastructure.
• Lowest Millage Rate: Doral's commitment to fiscal responsibility.
