Doral Celebrates Earth Day with Citywide Cleanup and Garden Launch
Published on April 10, 2025
This April, the City of Doral invites residents to come together in celebration of Earth Day with events that highlight community, sustainability, and the beauty of our local environment. From volunteering opportunities to the launch of a brand-new community garden, there are plenty of ways to get involved and make a difference.
Citywide Cleanup
Things kick off on Friday, April 12 with Doral’s annual Citywide Cleanup, happening from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Residents of all ages are encouraged to sign up and help beautify areas throughout the city. Volunteers will be assigned locations after registering, and all supplies will be provided by the City. It’s a great way to give back, get outdoors, and show pride in your community.

Earth Day Celebration & Proclamation
The celebration continues on Monday, April 22 at Doral Glades Park with an evening of Earth Day activities from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The event will feature a Town Hall Meeting, a special ribbon cutting for Doral’s new Community Garden, and the official Earth Day Proclamation presented by Mayor Christi Fraga.
These Earth Month events are more than celebrations, they’re part of Doral’s ongoing work to build a healthier, greener city. Through initiatives like the Citywide Integrated Sustainability Plan (CISP), Doral is committed to long-term environmental efforts that benefit our residents today and for generations to come.
