Alarms Unit

The Alarms Unit is an element within the Administration Unit. The mission of the Alarms Unit is accomplished through the application of the alarm ordinance mandates. The Alarms Unit is responsible for promoting a cooperative effort between the alarm companies, and the commercial and residential alarm users.

The initial cost of an alarm permit is $25.00. In order to register an alarm, the following is needed: Alarm Registration Form along with a check or money order made payable to the City of Doral, Cash, or Credit Card (Except American Express)

Alarm permits must be renewed annually. If no false alarm was reported for that year, a renewal fee will not be required. Renewal fees are $25.00.

The activation of false alarms within a permit year will result in the following escalating service fee schedule:

• The first three police responses to false alarms are at no charge, non-registered alarms $75.00.
• Fourth police response - $100.00, non-registered alarms $175.00
• Fifth police response - $200.00, non-registered alarms $275.00
• Sixth police response - $300.00, non-registered alarms $375.00
