Doral Kicks off New Freebee Program for Senior Citizens

Doral, FL – A new and innovative partnership with Freebee has launched to provide on-demand, door-to-door transportation to senior citizens in Doral of ages 65 and up for free.

Mayor Christi Fraga, Councilman Rafael Pineyro, Councilwoman Maureen Porras, and Councilwoman Digna Cabral, joined Freebee and several seniors from the Doral Silver Club to celebrate this milestone program with a ribbon cutting and inaugural ride. Through initiatives like this, the City’s leadership remains committed to providing low to no-cost solutions that help our senior population stay active and engaged in our community.

Rides can be requested by contacting Freebee’s dispatch line at (855) 918-3733 and providing your pick-up and drop-off location.  Additionally, rides can be requested via the Ride Freebee mobile app.

To register for the program, residents (ages 65+) must call the Freebee dispatch line to create a profile, providing their name, date of birth, email address, and phone number. The Freebee dispatch team will communicate to the passengers that they will need to provide a valid ID upon pick up on their first ride request. Once verified, the riders will no longer need to show their ID moving forward.
