Miami-Dade County Virtual Public Meeting: Roadway improvements (NW 97th Ave)

Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works is planning to reconstruct NW 97th Avenue from the north side of the intersection at NW 58th Street to NW 70th Street. The project will replace the existing three-lane roadway with a new five-lane roadway that will connect to the existing five-lane section of NW 97th Avenue north of NW 70th Street. Also, the project will address the vehicular traffic demands of the corridor and provide new facilities for bicyclists and pedestrians. The objective of the project is to provide safety and operational improvements to help traffic flow smoothly along NW 97th Avenue. Construction on this project is scheduled to begin October 2021 and is anticipated to be completed June 2023.

You are invited to attend this virtual public meeting  for this project, hosted by Miami-Dade County on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. To participate in the virtual public meeting, the public may pre-register at  www.miamidade.gov/virtual-meetings.
