Uniform Patrol personnel are deployed strategically to cover both the North and South Districts of the City. We aim to exceed the expectations of our citizens and to provide the highest quality of professional law enforcement on every call. Each district is divided into pre-determined geographic zones that are used to delineate areas of responsibility for officers on patrol. The Uniform Patrol Section's primary responsibility is to respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for service. In addition to responding to dispatched calls for service, officers conduct self-initiated activities such as traffic stops and patrol neighborhoods, they are assigned.

The professional men and women of the Doral Police Department's Uniform Patrol Division do not limit their duties to crime prevention and traffic enforcement: officers routinely work with the community to help solve problems and maintain the peace. They also serve as first responders to medical emergencies, aiding sick or injured persons. The Uniform Patrol Division is divided into three (3) platoons which consist of one (1) captain, four (4) lieutenants, and nine (12) sergeants each who are committed to providing professional law enforcement services to all in order to protect the public and help with the reduction of crime within our community. Uniform Patrol Officers and Supervisors strive to build partnerships with those we serve.
