Run-off for Seat 3 on December 8th 

Doral, FL – On November 3, 2020, Mayor Juan Carlos Bermudez and Councilwoman Claudia Mariaca were both re-elected by Doral voters with significant margins of 70% and 63% respectively. Mayor Bermudez, founding Mayor of the City of Doral, returned in 2016; this will be his second term. Councilwoman Mariaca, Seat 1, was elected for her first term in 2016. This will be her second term as well.
 
“I am grateful to the residents of our great City that voted and sent a clear message that they support our City and know that we are a model city, on the right track,” stated Mayor Bermudez. “The hard work continues as we remain committed each day to a government that is transparent and effective, bringing our residents the top-notch services and quality of life that they deserve.”
 
“I am very proud that the Doral community has once again placed their trust in me to represent them as part of the City Council,” said Councilwoman Mariaca. “As I’ve done during the last four years, I will continue to work tirelessly to keep improving the lives of our residents, resiliency of our businesses and success for our flourishing City.”
 
There will be a run-off on December 8th for Seat 3 between Oscar Puig and Juan Carlos Esquivel who received 44% and 33% respectively.
