Doral Unveils the New “Max E. Salvador Way”

Max E. Salvador Way

On June 9th, the Doral community came together to honor and celebrate someone very special to the City, Max E. Salvador. The heartfelt ceremony included warm remarks from Mayor Juan Carlos Bermudez, Councilwoman Christi Fraga, Miami-Dade County District 12 Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz, daughter, Lourdes Salvador and long-time friend, Vicente Rodriguez. The co-designation "Max E. Salvador Way" signage on NW 52 Street from NW 97 Avenue to NW 107 Avenue is in honor and memory of a great friend to many and an important part of Doral’s history.

Max E. Salvador was a dedicated and loved leader that first opened his company in 1983 in the industrious Doral area. He then went on to develop relationships with business and community leaders, forging the road to make Doral a city, recognizing it for its unique and prosperous demographic. As a Doral Community Council member, and an elected Councilman, he paved the way for the establishment of local churches, parks and schools.

The Doral City Council unanimously approved the resolution for the addition of the “Max E. Salvador” signage on April 12, 2017.
