Doral Councilwoman, Claudia Mariaca has tested negative for COVID-19, following 14 days of self-quarantine with no contact with the public.
Doral, FL - Doral Councilwoman, Claudia Mariaca has tested negative for COVID-19, following 14 days of self-quarantine with no contact with the public. Throughout this time, neither her nor any of her family members experienced any symptoms of the virus. During her quarantine she remained in contact with the City of Doral, as well as the Florida Health Department, which decided to test her a few days ago as a precaution.
Councilwoman Mariaca had self-quarantined two weeks ago after attending an event in which she briefly had contact with Brazilian President, Jair Bolsonaro. The Councilwoman at no point had contact with the Brazilian Press Secretary, who was confirmed to have tested positive for COVID-19.
