Doral, FL – The City of Doral is partnering with the South Florida PBS Health Channel, for a groundbreaking initiative: to deliver valuable and credible health information to Doral residents through Health Channel programming on Doral TV and the Health Channel’s widget on the City of Doral’s website.

“I have always been a big advocate for public-private partnerships and the great role they play in enhancing services provided to our residents,” said Mayor Juan Carlos Bermudez. “We thank South Florida PBS for choosing Doral as their first municipal partner in this venture that aims at increasing accessibility and educating our community for healthier living.”

Created by South Florida PBS, a member station of PBS, the most trusted media institution in the United States, the Health Channel is the first TV channel of its kind, offering a uniquely designed concept that connects you with medical and well-being specialists in real time, promoting healthier lifestyle options. In partnership with prestigious organizations, the service aims to empower you with the most up-to-date information, enabling you to take more control of your and your family’s health.

Doral TV will feature a 2-hour block dedicated to original Health Channel content which covers health topics from A-Z. The regularly updated Health Channel widget is now on The City of Doral’s website and provides short form Health Channel videos with answers to some of the most common health question.
