Feel the Beat
Feel the Beat is a dance class for participants with special needs ages 8 and older. Experience this fun-filled hour of rhythmic gymnastics style exercising and enjoy the music by combining different dance steps. Participants will enhance coordination, flexibility and endurance, while improving their range of motion and muscular balance. Join the fun! Capacity: 10.

Reading Comprehension

Afterschool Educational Series

The Afterschool Educational Series is targeted for children with special needs between the ages of 5-16 that are one grade level behind in mathematics, reading, and writing. Program features one-on-one instruction in a small-group setting led by pediatric therapist in the field of occupational therapy, behavior analysis, and educational psychology. Parent training is an integral part of the program.

Special Olympics


The City of Doral Special Olympics Team is a program designed for athletes ages 8 and older with an intellectual disability. This program provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports such as athletics, soccer, golf, bowling, softball and basketball. The intention of this team is to reach out to the special needs population in the Doral community and provide them with continuous opportunities to develop physical fitness, friendships and memories.
