If you possess Foreign Degree

The successful completion of college study in a foreign institution may be accepted in lieu of education in an accredited U.S. college or university. There may be appropriate evidence that the education is equivalent or that the candidate has acquired the knowledge and abilities required for the position.

In order to give credit for your education completed in a foreign institution, it is necessary to have your course work evaluated by an accredited American college or university having a curriculum in the same field. The City of Doral requires applicants to submit certified translations for all foreign language documents. Any document containing foreign language submitted to the City of Doral shall be accompanied by a full English language translation which the translator has certified as complete and accurate, and by the translator's certification that he or she is competent to translate from the foreign language into English.

Please refer to the enclosed sample list that includes institutions that perform credential interpretation assistance. Please keep in mind that these institutions operate on a fee basis. If you have any questions, in regards to the Foreign Degree study and degree translation, please contact us.
