Doral Red-Light Safety Program Brochure

Stopping at a Red Light Keeps City of Doral Streets Safer

Not stopping at red lights is a dangerous and costly problem on Doral streets and across the country. Doral's Intersection Safety Camera Program is designed to reduce the number of violations, crashes and injuries caused by red-light runners. The objective is to change drivers' behavior, making the community safe as more and more drivers obey the traffic signals and stop on red.

Car at CurbWhat is an Intersection Safety Violation?
A violation occurs when a motorist enters an intersection after the traffic signal has
turned red. Motorists already in the intersection when the signal changes to red,
waiting to turn for example, are not considered violators.

ATTENTION:
As of July 1, 2013, the program changed due to the new State law taking effect.
