“My heart is heavy this evening with the news of the tragedy that has struck Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. That on a day of love, the Parkland community has had to instead contend with violence. On behalf of the City of Doral, I offer my thoughts and prayers to the students, teachers, staff and families affected by this senseless act, as well as to the entire community. Our Doral Police Department will be working with Miami-Dade County Public School Police to enhance police presence and security in our Doral schools in the coming days.”
