The Finance Department is the central fiscal control and accounting body of the City government. The Finance Director serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the City.

The Department manages with the daily finance/accounting activities including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue collection, cash management, debt management, risk management, purchasing, and financial reporting.

The Finance Director provides vital support in the development of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report and the Annual Budget and Capital Program.
