Christine Fraga has been a resident of the City of Doral since 1999. In November of 2012 she was elected as the youngest Council member the City has ever had.  As Councilwoman she spearheaded the creation of the Youth Advisory Board (YAB), a group of young people, ages 16 to 20, to advise the City on how to get other young adults involved in government service. 
 
In 2013 she was named Chair of the Women’s Alliance Group, a committee of the Doral Business Council focused on support, guidance and enhancement for women in the workplace and to promote and bring women together in the business community.
 
A graduate with honors of St. Brendan High School, she enjoyed competitive sports and competed on a national level with Miami Elite, wining five national championships. Councilwoman Fraga attended Miami-Dade Community College where she earned an Associate degree in Arts, Business Administration and in 2008 attended Florida International University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance Management.  While at FIU, she laid the foundation to start her own business in the Doral area.
 
Currently Councilwoman Fraga is the proud owner of two successful Doral based businesses, City Select and South Florida Small Business Solutions.  Her entrepreneurship and business experience has earned her a reputation of stimulating the local economy and bringing efficiencies to Doral’s government. 
 
Ms. Fraga is very active in the Doral community where she lives with her husband Gabriel and a place her Cuban parents also call home.
