SPECIAL ELECTION AND GENERAL ELECTION INFORMATION  

Special Election:

The City of Doral will hold a Special Election to consider amendments to the City’s Charter on:

Tuesday, August 26, 2014

The proposed amendments to the Charter will be concurrent with the statewide / countywide primary election on that same date.  To cast a vote in this election, you must be registered to vote by July 28th, 2014.  

Early Voting for the Special Election will take place in different locations throughout the County from August 11th through August 24th, 2014.

General Election:

The City of Doral will hold a General Election for Council Seat 2 on:

Tuesday, November 4, 2014

To cast a vote in the election, you must be registered to vote by October 6th, 2014.  Early Voting will take place in different locations throughout the County from October 20th through November 2nd, 2014.

How to Qualify for Office in the City of Doral:

The Qualifying Period for the City of Doral will be

no earlier than noon on Tuesday, July 8th, 2014 through
no later than noon on Tuesday, July 22nd, 2014.

For the November 4, 2014 General Election, candidates may qualify for Council Seat 2 or Seat 4.  Any resident of the City of Doral who has resided continuously in the City for at least two (2) years preceding the qualifying date; and who is a registered voter in the State of Florida shall be eligible to be a candidate for office.
