Doral ready to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ Birthday!

Doral, FL - What kid (or grownup) doesn’t love the timeless stories of Dr. Seuss? The City of Doral in conjunction with hundreds of students from Ronald Reagan Senior High School will celebrate Dr. Seuss’ 108th Birthday this Saturday, February 25th, at 11am. The event will take place at the school located on 8600 NW 107th Avenue.

This will be the third consecutive year the City of Doral sponsors the event in response to the National Education Association’s “Read Across America” program which focuses on building a nation of readers. The City of Doral is one of the thousands of communities, schools and libraries that participate in this initiative of promoting reading amongst our youth.

Activities will include Outdoor Games, Arts and Crafts, Face Painting, Magic Shows, Story Telling Time and special appearances by Dr. Seuss themed characters Merlina the Magician and the Fantasy Theater Factory. Parking and admission are free!
