It Starts in the Parks Award - 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010
"It Starts In Parks" is an initiative of the Florida Recreation and Park Association intended to better position parks and recreation in the future to be recognized and supported for the important benefits and services provided by the profession, to citizens of and visitors to the state of Florida. This award recognizes and honors agencies that have been implementing the message in the most creative and comprehensive manner.

Playful City USA – 2010, 2011, 2012
Each of the Playful City USA communities demonstrates creative commitments to addressing the Play Deficit. Playful City USA, sponsored by the Humana Foundation, celebrates and highlights these unique initiatives developed by communities across the country.
